Love Love Is ALL is ALL

So I just had my one year wedding anniversary (July 13th) and have been thinking about all the people that helped make our day simply spectacular and I wanted to share some love ~ look at this awesome custom Rosary Necklace by Verde Rocks (Featured Jewelry Artist of the Month at Radish!) that I gave to my Aunt Mary, Godmother extraordinaire, as another huge THANK YOU, and my favorite pic of us little ol’ Radish ladies – could NOT have done it (or anything else really) without the incomparable Celestial Jane:

A: Speed Networking—a whirlwind night of rapid-fire elevator pitches and electrified business connections!

Sixty handmade artists will have a mere two minutes to pitch their product to each of 20 local and regional buyers in an atmosphere a-buzz with energy and excitement. Professional advisors and crafty superstars will be on hand to give tips about line sheets, portfolios, pitching to blogs and more. Design Within Reach’s Portland Studio hosts the first round of Mixer Match, suitable for handmade artists seeking new wholesale and consignment accounts.

Supported by Deschutes Brewery

Confirmed Buyers: The Gallery at Museum of Contemporary Craft, Local Goods, Moxie, Presents of Mind, Radish Underground, Redux, Relish, Sword + Fern, Tender Loving Empire, Twill, Union Rose and more! The list keeps growing!

Applications for participating artists are accepted through Friday, August 13. Notification of participation will be made by August 18.

Please note: this is NOT a juried process. We will hold a lottery for applicants who meet the criteria.This event is targeted at handmade artists interested in finding new wholesale or consignment accounts. If you are a fine artist, we will be holding Round Two of the event in early 2011, specifically geared toward fine artists and gallerists.
