Hi Celeste...I know I haven't seen or spoken with you in awhile but I always keep up with what the Radish is doing :) Robben keeps me in the loop on how you are doing and the such. I was wondering if there was anyway I could purchase some fabric and have it mailed to me? I sew like crazy now because my little girls inspire me :) I am always looking for great deals on fabric and this is a great deal. I don't know if it is possible or if it would cost too much for postage. I would love to purchase $50 worth and I would be totally comfortable with you picking out some sweet fabrics. If it isnt do able I totally understand, I just thought I would ask.
Thank you much

Hey Rad Friends! Some of you lovely folks have been submitting various questions, inquiries, design/intern submissions, business opportunities, etc. as comments on our blog... which may SEEM like a great short cut in this new fangled technology driven world of ours... but ACTUALLY it's going to be way more effective to contact us directly via that old dinosaur known as e-mail. You can ALWAYS reach us by sending your queries and whatnots to info @ radishunderground . com, while you're taking your chances by leaving a blog comment that your message will be missed or automatically deleted as spam. So email away!! And always feel free to follow up (maybe more than once, persistence is the name of the game) if you've not heard from us, we're supes busy but want to hear from each of you!!

Many thanks,
***the Rad Gals

Hey There!

I was wondering if you have heard of the shop local movement called Supportland? (you can check it out at supportland.com if not) Your business is totally ideal for the services we provide, and you will be surprised at how it can grow your customer base.

We are a small locally owned and run, Portland focused company like you!

I would love to talk on the phone, even for five minutes or even set up a face to face to meet you, so let me know when works best for you!

Looking forward to it!

Hi Celeste and Gina!

I'm writing on behalf of a travel web series by MSN and Fremantle called "ReDiscover". We're traveling to nine US cities this fall to highlight some fun, interesting, 'locals-only' places around those towns that would normally be left out of a guidebook, but that truly personify, in this case, Portland. I discovered you guys doing a Google search for 'underground Portland' (we use very sophisticated means of research here), and so now I have a two-part question:

Would you guys be interested in a little free publicity for your store? It would likely come by way of one of our 'hosts' being a patron and including you on their 'must-have places to visit around Portland'. Our crew would stop in as part of their tour and take a few shots of the interior and exterior of your store. Our last go-round of this series has received over a million hits, and you can check it out here: http://rediscover.msn.com/

The second part of this request is that I'm trying to get a hold of Elyse Bunkers. I saw from your site that she was one of your 'Of the Month'ers, and took a look at some of her stuff. I think having a metalworker/jewelrymaker would be an awesome visual and eclectic element to include in our piece on your city. She'd also then have a natural tie-in to your store. I'm just having trouble finding anyway to reach out to her.

If you're interested in any part of this, I'd love to connect more with you about it. And I know it's a lot to ask and you don't know me from Adam, but it would be so very much appreciated if you'd facilitate an introduction to Elyse as well.

Please don't hesitate to email me or call with any questions. I can be reached at 310-270-5527.

I hope you'll consider being a part of ReDiscover, and I look forward to hearing back from you!

Best,
Lisa Margeson

We are the Eco-clothing brand Casualmere®, 100% bamboo clothing. We have been reading about Radish Underground and think you would be a good fit to be one of our clothing boutique accounts. We do sell only on-line and through selected boutiques with an Eco-awareness slant.
We stock both women's bamboo t-shirt tops, a basic dress in several colors as well as men's t-shirts and golf shirt.
We look forward to hearing from you.
